What is Forest Bathing?
29 Jan 2019
Forest bathing is the practice of spending time in the forest in a relaxed way while purposefully enjoying the serene atmosphere of the forest. The practice of forest bathing originated in Japan, where it is called Shinrin yoku, which literally translates to ‘forest bathing’. This is different from hiking or jogging. The focus is not the physical activity that you do, but connecting with nature through your senses- sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
